We're thrilled to invite you to participate in our exciting Steeltown Showdown 4 Nations Face-Off Pick'em Pool! 

How It Works:

• Player Groups: You'll select one player from each of the 16 groups (8 Forward, 6 Defenseman, 2 Goalie) who you predict will score the most points within their respective group:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfB4P1NX4GX1s5H9kRC2i5FxwaAuWRMTmNxhtTdQ4uXVxuQXA/viewform
• Scoring: Points will be awarded based on actual player performance in the tournament - see scoring system below
• Submission: Submit and edit your picks up to before the start of the first game of the 4 Nations Cup Tournament, Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
• Standings: Standings will be updated and distributed via email and posted on the Steeltown Showdown website regularly.
• Tie-Breaker: In case of ties, tie-breakers will be used.

Pool Details:

• Cost: $10 per pool entry.
• Prizes: Half of the total pool value will be distributed to the winner(s) up to a maximum $4000 prize.

To Participate:

1. Make your selections: Complete the Steeltown Showdown 4 Nations Face-Off Pick'em Pool Google Form to choose one player from each of the 16 groups: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfB4P1NX4GX1s5H9kRC2i5FxwaAuWRMTmNxhtTdQ4uXVxuQXA/viewform by the deadline.
2. Pay the entry fee: Please pay $10 per entry via e-transfer to cgcamero@gmail.com

• Forwards: F1 (Elite Playmakers), F2 (Top Goal Scorers), F3 (Two-Way Forwards/Captains), F4 (Skilled Wingers), F5 (Rising Stars/Offensive Threats), F6 (Gritty/Power Forwards), F7 (Versatile Forwards), F8 (Depth Forwards/Playmakers)
• Defensemen: D1 (Offensive Defensemen - Elite), D2 (Two-Way Defensemen - Top Pairing), D3 (Experienced/Steady Defensemen), D4 (Offensive Defensemen - Rising Stars), D5 (Defensive/Physical Defensemen), D6 (All-Around Defensemen)
• Goalies: G1 (Established Starters), G2 (Up-and-Coming/Solid Starters)
• Scoring System:
• Forwards: Goal = 1 point, Assist = 1 point, Hat Trick Bonus = 1 additional point
• Defensemen: Goal = 1 point, Assist = 1 point, Plus/Minus = 0.1 points (positive only)
• Goalies: Win = 2 points, Shutout = 3 points, Save = 0.05 points, Goals Against = -0.1 points
• Tie-Breaker (If Necessary):

In case of a tie in total points at the end of the tournament, the following tie-breakers will be used in order:

•  Most total goals scored by picked forwards.
• Fewest total goals against by picked goalies.
• Coin flip (if necessary).
